Frontier Culture Museum

The Frontier Culture Museum is located in nearby Staunton and boasts being the largest open-air museum in the Shenandoah Valley. The museum is unique in that while it has displays and artifacts (well organized) it also includes costumed-historical-interpreters to bring the experience to life. It’s very family-friendly but also history-buff friendly. (tip: make this an experience as part of a half-day or day-trip to Staunton).
