Devils Backbone Brewing Company (DB) is a well-known Virginia craft brewery located on Route 11 in Lexington, Virginia, making it a convenient and popular destination for visitors exploring the area. Originally founded by Steve and Heidi Crandall, Devils Backbone was acquired by Anheuser-Busch in 2016, helping expand its reach while maintaining its strong local identity.
The inspiration for Devils Backbone Brewing Company came from the founders’ experiences tasting European craft beers in the Alps, a vision that helped shape DB into one of the most recognized breweries in Virginia.
